Stand-up paddle boarding offers one of the most immersive ways to experience the coastline of Cabo San Lucas. The elevated standing position provides a unique perspective, allowing you to take in the dramatic scenery of Land’s End while gliding across the clear waters of the Sea of Cortez.
Along the route, you'll paddle past iconic landmarks including Neptune’s Finger and the Arch of Cabo San Lucas, granite formations shaped by wind, waves, and time. The adventure also includes guided snorkeling near Pelican Rock, where rocky reef systems create habitat for colorful fish and other marine life commonly found in the Sea of Cortez.

Meeting and Pickup
• Complimentary round-trip transportation is available from hotels in Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, and the Tourist Corridor• If your hotel is not listed, feel free to contact us so we can check transportation availability for your area• Guests arriving with their own vehicle may meet at Plaza Gali OXXO or directly at Playa Empacadora, where the experience begins from the beach• Hotels outside the main tourist area, including Hard Rock, Nobu, Rancho San Lucas, Diamante, or Four Seasons, are not included in complimentary transportation and will meet at Plaza Gali OXXO in Cabo San Lucas• Cruise guests will also meet at Plaza Gali OXXO, approximately 3–5 minutes walking from the marina exit. Detailed walking directions will be provided with your confirmation message• Cabo San Lucas cruise arrivals operate using tender boats, which may take additional time depending on port operations. We strongly recommend taking the earliest tender available or booking priority tender service whenever possible• Guests who miss transportation or arrive late must arrive directly at Playa Empacadora before the activity start time at their own expense

What To Expect
Experience Land’s End from a unique perspective as you paddle across the waters of Cabo San Lucas Bay on a private stand-up paddle board adventure. Beginning at Playa Empacadora, your guide provides a brief introduction to balance, paddling technique, and ocean conditions before heading toward some of the most iconic landmarks in Baja California Sur.
Unlike kayaking, paddle boarding offers an elevated viewpoint, allowing you to better appreciate the coastline, changing water colors, and granite formations of Land’s End. Along the route, you'll paddle past Neptune’s Finger, Lovers Beach, and the famous Arch while enjoying scenic views and opportunities for photos.
The adventure continues with guided snorkeling near Pelican Rock or a nearby reef area selected according to daily conditions. Combining paddle boarding, snorkeling, coastal exploration, and private guiding, this experience offers an active and memorable way to discover one of Los Cabos’ most iconic natural settings.

Yes, we allow pregnant women to go on snorkeling. However, it’s crucial to consult with your healthcare provider before doing so to assess your individual health and pregnancy stage.
Jan 2022Yes, this is possible, as long as you are comfortable going into the water. All Cool Cabo snorkeling tours adhere to strict safety regulations and have been designed to be enjoyed by all.
Your safety is our #1 priority, which is why:
- You will be wearing a flotation device at all times.
- On many tours, there is a stairway from the boat into the water so you won’t have to “jump” in!
- There are trained staff in the water and watching from the boat at all times.
For these reasons, we believe that even non-swimmers can have a wonderful time on our snorkeling trips, however, the final judgment call is yours to make. Please note we do not give refunds if you decide not to snorkel on the trip.
Oct 2021The snorkel gear we use on Cool Cabo tours is high quality and for your protection, the equipment is sanitized after each use. However, if you feel more comfortable using your own snorkeling equipment, feel free to bring it on the tour. Please note, there is no discount for providing your own equipment and we can’t be responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Oct 2021There are no legal age limits for snorkeling. We have found that age 5 or 6 is a good age to learn the basics of snorkeling, however, it’s entirely up to individuals to make the best choice for their family.
Sep 2021If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
