Why Baja Vikings? By only taking small groups and never overcrowding the boat you get a more comfortable and up close personal experience with the Whales. Our Apex boat is designed for Marine Mammal viewing by gliding on the water verses cutting into it, that way we have minimal impact on the animals, their habits, and migration making for a more peaceful and safe interaction with the whales. Humpback Whales are known for their songs so you will also get to hear them sing with our state of the art hydrophone. Baja Vikings practices safe and responsible Whale Watching Tours following local guidelines. Every tour we want you to enjoy the experience so we take all the photos and videos and provide them to you for free for you to keep as memories for years to come.

What To Expect
Cabo San Lucas is a worldwide hot spot for a Whale Watching Tour. Why? Because every year Humpback Whales travel to these warmer waters during the months of December thru April for breeding, giving birth and nurturing their young. Humpback Whales are known for their breaching, distinct surface habits and unique songs which makes them a favorite for ecoventurers all over the world.
Alongside of our professionally certified local trained guides take a speed boat ride and learn about these fascinating creatures as they majestically launch themselves out of the water creating tremendous splashes and fantastic photo opportunities. You will also be able to hear them sing their unique songs with our state-of-the-art hydrophone.
Onboard our 28-foot Apex speed boat, set off on the adventure of a lifetime! Our boat is specifically designed for marine mammal viewing, riding on top of the water instead of pounding through it. Making for a more peaceful and safe interaction with the animals.

As an active member of the Dolphin SMART program, we do not have physical contact with the dolphins on Whale Watching by Zodiac in Cabo San Lucas with Photos Included. We watch them in their natural habitat from the boat.
Dec 2022If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the tour local time (MST).
- This tour requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
