Each year between December and April, thousands of whales migrate from their Arctic feeding grounds to the warm waters of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula to mate and give birth.This is the time for whale watching in Cabo!

What To Expect
When we talk about whale watching, one of the best destinations to appreciate the majesty of these mammals is Cabo San Lucas because we are a breeding area of the humpback whale. The season is celebrated from December 15 to April 15. Experience the thrilling show that the whales give us when they jump through the air, or admire its majestic body that can measure up to 16 meters in length.
For this adventure we use a boat setup specifically for whale watching. Hydrophones to hear the whales too! On this tour you will visit “Land’s End” at the tip of the Peninsula of Baja California Sur, including the famous “Arco”, you will also see The Sea Lion Colony, Pelican Rock, The Finger of Neptune, The Window of the Pacific , Scooby Doo Rock, Lovers Beach, Divorce Beach, The Last Stone Formation where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez, among others. You will also enjoy spectacular landscapes such as the bay of Cabo San Lucas.
This tour is approximately 2.5 hours, includes a marine biologist and the ability to hear the whales you are seeing! Talk about bucket list! Don’t miss out on this!

As an active member of the Dolphin SMART program, we do not have physical contact with the dolphins on Whale Watching with Hydrophones! Hear the whales!. We watch them in their natural habitat from the boat.
Dec 2022If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the tour local time (MST).
- This tour requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
