Meeting and Pickup
For cruise ship passengers: As you walk from the tender pier through the pier security gate, turn right on the red sidewalk that borders the harbor. The Gali Plaza will be on your left, the water on your right. Walk approximately 20 yards to the Cruise Terminal building. The building will be on your left and has a sign saying API in blue letters. Enter the terminal building and walk to the far side where you will exit onto a parking lot. At the parking lot exit, you will see an Oxxo convenience store. Your guide will be waiting in front of the store.Exact location: PLAZA GALI, Parking Lot (Oxxo) Blvd. Paseo de la Marina 36, Centro, Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico.If you are driving yourself: The meeting point is at the Plaza Gali parking lot, which is located right in front of the Sandos Finisterra hotel. We will meet you in front of the OXXO convenience store which is located at the exit of the parking lot.Exact location: PLAZA GALI, Parking Lot (OxxO) Blvd. Paseo de la Marina 36, Centro, Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico.If you choose our complimentary transport service: Our round trip transportation covers hotels in San Jose del Cabo, the corridor, and the Cabo San Lucas tourist area. - Departure Time 9 a.m and 2 p. m. available Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
- We recommend as early a start as possible as in the mornings there is less wind and fewer waves, so the conditions are usually more favorable.
- Pick-up times are assigned based on the location of your hotel or place of accommodation. Pick-ups start approximately one and a half hours before the scheduled activity time.
- As we know the weather is a factor that can lead us to modify our day, sometimes we will have to change location, reschedule and / or cancel (the refund will be issued 100% in case of cancellation by us). You will be informed of the options and you will make the decision. Factors that could influence this are rain, high swell, wind and jellyfish.
- Your safety is our priority. When the conditions are not favorable, due to wind, high waves, or a tropical storm, we offer to change the day of your reservation or make a refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 48 hours in advance of the start date of the experience. No show or last minute cancellation will be charged in full. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
- All transfers are complementary and optional, therefore the price doesn’t change if you don’t use the transfer option.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers

Yes, we allow pregnant women to go on snorkeling. However, it’s crucial to consult with your healthcare provider before doing so to assess your individual health and pregnancy stage.
Jan 2022Yes, this is possible, as long as you are comfortable going into the water. All Cool Cabo snorkeling tours adhere to strict safety regulations and have been designed to be enjoyed by all.
Your safety is our #1 priority, which is why:
- You will be wearing a flotation device at all times.
- On many tours, there is a stairway from the boat into the water so you won’t have to “jump” in!
- There are trained staff in the water and watching from the boat at all times.
For these reasons, we believe that even non-swimmers can have a wonderful time on our snorkeling trips, however, the final judgment call is yours to make. Please note we do not give refunds if you decide not to snorkel on the trip.
Oct 2021The snorkel gear we use on Cool Cabo tours is high quality and for your protection, the equipment is sanitized after each use. However, if you feel more comfortable using your own snorkeling equipment, feel free to bring it on the tour. Please note, there is no discount for providing your own equipment and we can’t be responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Oct 2021There are no legal age limits for snorkeling. We have found that age 5 or 6 is a good age to learn the basics of snorkeling, however, it’s entirely up to individuals to make the best choice for their family.

- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
