This was a great experience. We took a boat ride out to a gorgeous reef, where the fish swim just inches away from you! The water was so cold, next time I'll wear a wetsuit. I recommend the life-jacket too for beginners!! We spotted a giant school of fish and some pufferfish. The guide was in the water with us and pointed out anything interesting in the water. They had kayaks and paddleboards available once the water got too cold.On the way back, my husband spotted a whale fin! (This was mid-November, a little early for whale spotting). The guides were so nice and averted our route to get a closer look. We spotted 2-3 humpback whales. We did this for about 15 min before we headed back to shore. This was not part of the tour, but it was a great addition to the experience.We had such a great time, we will go again!

Arturo our guide was awesome! We had shopping time, a tequila tour & tasting, glass boat tour of the sea of Cortez harbor with Ivan & Ivan! More city exploring time. We were given a recommendation by one of the Ivan’s for lunch at Barracuda’s, which was delicious! Then our final visit was at this small family owned glass blowing factory!! They were amazing! Great trip for a great value!!! ♥️🥰

Great Tour, But Rough Start – Be Proactive with Confirmation
I booked the Cabo Desert ATV & Beach Horseback Combo for 4 adults through Cool Cabo, scheduled for 8:00 AM. Unfortunately, the tour operator wasn’t at the pickup location as expected, and we had no contact from them ahead of time. I had to reach out to Cool Cabo customer service to get the operator’s number myself, which was frustrating and concerning, especially since the experience wasn’t showing on their end.Our group included native Spanish speakers, and I’m African American, so we tried multiple ways to communicate—screenshots, confirmation numbers, etc.—just to verify our booking. Eventually, after some back-and-forth over the phone, a driver was sent and we were picked up. At one point, I thought we were scammed due to the lack of reviews and confusion.Once the excursion started, though, it was incredible. The views on horseback by the ocean were stunning, and the ATV portion was just as fun. At the end, we enjoyed a tequila tasting from a boutique brand, which was a pleasant surprise and one of the highlights.Tips: • Contact Cool Cabo support early if your ride doesn’t show. • Screenshot your booking confirmation and bring it with you. • Ask for the local operator’s contact info ahead of time to avoid stress.I’m still rating this 4 stars because the experience itself was worth it—but operator coordination needs to improve.
