Due to it being low season, I was the only one on this tour today. Marco picked me up and dropped me off at my hotel. He was professional, attentive, and responsible and took me on a more challenging hike to Fox Canyon and the waterfall because that was what I asked for. If you go the challenging route, please wear shoes that can adhere to rocks. We then swam in the pool by the waterfall and little fish swam up and nibbled my feet. That was cool. I didn't know the waterfall was also a fish spa. Then we had a pretty delicious meal afterwards. The beef in my taco was really flavorful and the drinks were refreshing.

We ended up with a private tour because we were the only ones signed up and they didn’t cancel the excursion which we appreciated. Highlight of my trip! We had such an amazing and memorable experience with George as our guide! From beginning to end, he made us feel welcomed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. His knowledge of the area, the horses, and the surrounding environment made the entire experience so much more meaningful than just a horseback ride.George was incredibly informative and attentive, taking the time to share interesting details about the area, its history, and the horses themselves. We appreciated how he explained things along the way and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. You could truly tell that he loves what he does and takes pride in creating a wonderful experience for his guests.What stood out to us the most was how intentional everything felt. Nothing seemed rushed or impersonal. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, allowing us to fully appreciate the beautiful surroundings, connect with the horses, and enjoy the experience together. It was the perfect combination of adventure, relaxation, and learning something new.We left with not only beautiful memories but also a greater appreciation for the horses and the area we were exploring. This was a great experience and worth the ride from wherever you are staying. We had Hugo as our guide today and he was great. We had nice conversation throughout the day and he was great on the hike to the waterfall. Straight to the waterfall is about a 1/4 mile hike downhill, so that means you’re coming back up in the hike out. You can also hike around to the top of the waterfall. That route is a little more rocky but very doable. The waterfall was beautiful and the water was very refreshing. There were major rain storms the days before we went, so the water was murky from the runoff. Still refreshing and worth seeing. Also, our lunch was the best meal we had in the area. I would highly recommend this trip if you’re up for a little adventure. And get Hugo as your guide, if you can. Great experience.
